The “Follow Jesus” Lent and Easter Kit is easy-to-use and perfect for families looking to deepen their faith during the Lent and Easter seasons. Filled with engaging activities for families, this kit invites everyone to follow Jesus on his journey to Jerusalem, walk with him through Holy Week, and hear again the joyful story of Jesus’ resurrection on Easter morning. Use these resources whenever and however it fits your family’s routines, schedules, and daily realities. Packaging Instructions and Ideas for Church Leaders:
- Create a kit for each child or family using a gift or shoe box.
- Print the sticker of your chose and place one on each kit.
- Reproduce the booklet for each family and enough activity pages for each child in the family to have one.
- Along with the activity pages, consider filling the kits with some or all of these items:
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Prayer blanket – hand towel or small blanket
- Playdough, smooth stones, or other sensory objects
- Yarn
- Glue
- Tealight candles
