Music plays an integral role in forming and communicating faith. Shine offers music that inspires children, parents, and teachers to love Jesus, grow in faith, change the world. Everybody Sing is used in every PreK-Kindergarten and Elementary session. It provides teachers what they need to include music and worship in each session. To aid churches who are purchasing music for their households, Shine is offering a download bundle of 10 Shine’s album collection, which includes chord charts. Album 1: Worship Songs for Children includes songs of praise, prayer, and blessing. The album was produced and recorded by members of The Walking Roots Band who describe themselves as “an acoustic, Americana, folksy, blue-ish-grassy, roots music group based in Harrisonburg, Virginia.” Six of the 15 songs were composed by band members Seth Crissman and Greg Yoder.
Album 2: Songs for the Seasons includes songs for Advent, Christmas, Easter, and other seasons of the church year. All 10 songs were composed, recorded, and produced by The Many, a Chicago-based band who describe themselves as “an intentionally diverse collective making music for people to sing together about peace and justice and a world where all belong.”
